Born in Belarus. From 1997 to 2001 he trained in vocals at the Belorussian Academy of Music (classes of A. M. Savchenko, People’s Artist of the USSR, and Professor A. M. Generalov, People’s Artist of the Belorussian SSR). From 2001 to 2006 he was a student at the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Nikolai Okhotnikov, People’s Artist of the USSR). From 2006 to 2008 he was a soloist with the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the St Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire where he performed roles including Sobakin (The Tsar’s Bride), René (Iolanta), Gremin (Eugene Onegin), Colline (La bohème), Gil Perez (Le Domino noir), Calchas (La Belle Hélène) and Méphistophélès (Faust).

Joined the Mariinsky Opera in 2014.
