Born in Murmansk. Graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire and completed a post-graduate study and assistantship (class of Professor Novichenko).
Made her Mariinsky Theatre debut as Tatiana (Eugene Onegin) in 1995.
Repertoire includes: Gorislava (Ruslan and Lyudmila), Olga (The Maid of Pskov), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Maria (Mazepa), Polina (The Gambler), Sofia (Semyon Kotko), Clara (Betrothal in a Monastery), Natasha Rostova (War and Peace), Countess Rosina (Le nozze di Figaro), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Elsa (Lohengrin), Antonia (Les Contes d?Hoffmann) and Desdemona (Otello).
Has performed at the world?s leading opera venues, including the Metropolitan Opera (New York), San Francisco Opera, Washington Opera, Carnegie Hall, the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and festivals in Salzburg, Ravenna and Baden-Baden. Took part in a gala concert at Buckingham Palace with other Mariinsky Theatre soloists, Placido Domingo and the London Philharmonic under the baton of Valery Gergiev.
Has toured with the Mariinsky Opera Company to France, Slovenia, Italy, Finland, Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA.
Has given concerts with Larisa Gergieva, Honoured Artist of Russia, in Moscow, Helsinki, London and Milan.
