Born in Milan. Studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Subsequently completed a specialised course in set and stage costume design at La Scala. Started working as an independent set designer with Haydn?s opera L?isola disabitata at Milan?s Litta Theatre and Paisiello?s La Molinara at La Scala. Has worked for various opera houses in Italy on productions of Gluck?s L?оle de Merlin, Mozart?s The Magic Flute and Massenet?s Don Quixote. Worked as assistant costume designer with director Hugo De Ana on productions of Verdi?s Nabucco and Don Carlos. Was also head of the sewing workshop at Verona?s Arena. Worked as costume designer with director Walter Le Molly in the course of last year. Productions staged in co-operation with him include a contemporary musical and Moliere?s comedy George Dandin and the operas Cosi fan tutte and Il trittico.
