Mr Levings credits include: Significant sections of the repertoire of Opera Australia including: Cosi fan tutte, The magic flute, Don Giovanni, Un ballo in maschera, La traviata, Don Carlo, The Turn of the Screw, Lґincoronazione di Poppea, Otphee at Euridice, Die Meistersinger von Nurenberg, Fidelio, Hansel and Gretel, The Makropulos Secret, Jenufa, The Cunning Little Vixen and Katya Kabanova. Romeo and Juliet, Dance of Death, Uncle Vanya, Death and the Maiden and The Crucible for the Sydney Theatre Company and Master Builder and The Seagull for Belvoir Street Theatre. Other credits include the musicals The King and I, How to Succeed and South Pacific for The Gordon Frost Organisation. Aspects of Love for The Really Useful Company in Australia and the UK. The Baz Luhrman production of A Midsummer Nightґs Dream (Best Opera Production Australia 1993 and Best Production 1994 Edinburh Festival) for the 1994 Edinburgh Festival. Der Rosenkavalier for The Welsh National Opera and for Opera Australia, Barrie Koskyґs production of Nabucco (including a broadcast and video for ABC TV) and Wozzeck for Opera Australia. A Cristmas Carol for The Royal Shakespeare Company, Ian Judgeґs IMG/ Victoria State Opera production of West Side Story (Best Musical Mo Award 1995). La Belle Vivette for English National Opera. He also lit the Richard Mills opera of Summer of the Seventeenth Doll for Victoria State Opera, Opera Australia and ABC television broadcast. For television he has lit 16 Operas for broadcast and video including two production of La Boheme. A 1988 version which won an International Emmy Award and a more recent 1993 version by the Australian film director Baz Luhrman. Simon Boccanegra (1857 version) with Leiferkus, Domingo and Esperian for The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden (the last new production ever to open on the old Royal Opera House stage) and Simon Boccanegra (1883 version) for Washington Opera. The Stefanos Lazaridis conceived and designed production of Pelleas at Melisande for Opera Australia and Neil Armfieldґs production of Billy Budd for Welsh National Opera. Opera Australia and soon for Canadian Opera. David Pountneyґs production of Lucia di Lammermoor for New Israeli Opera.
