Maria Adzhamova

Dancer

Born in St Petersburg.
Graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (class of M. A. Vasilieva).
Joined the Mariinsky Ballet Company in 2006.

Her repertoire includes:
La Sylphide (Sylphs) – choreography by August Bournonville;
La Bayadиre (Indian Dance) – choreography by Marius Petipa, revised version by Vakhtang Chabukiani;
Swan Lake (Spanish Dance, Hungarian Dance, Mazurka) – choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, revised version by Konstantin Sergeyev;
Raymonda (Panaderos) – choreography by Marius Petipa, revised version by Konstantin Sergeyev;
Don Quixote (Gipsy Dance) – choreography by Alexander Gorsky;
The Fountain of Bakhchisarai (Ghirei’s Second Wife, Young Women) – choreography by Rostislav Zakharov;
Romeo and Juliet (Folk Dance, Tavern's servants) – choreography by Leonid Lavrovsky;
The Little Humpbacked Horse (Gypsy Dance) – choreography by Alexei Ratmansky,
The Magic Nut (Beer Rat) – staging by Mihail Chemiakin and choreography by Donvena Pandoursky,
Metaphysics (Colourful Drops) – choreography by Donvena Pandoursky and dances in the opera Sadko (Goldfish).
